Precision CNC turning at Seiko Industry
In the field of precision machining, selecting a supplier depends not only on the number of machines but also on the ability to simultaneously meet requirements for accuracy, productivity, surface quality, and stability in mass production. Seiko Industry currently owns a system of CNC lathes and automatic lathes from Citizen and Mori Seiki, capable of machining parts ranging from small diameter components using Swiss-type technology to larger shafts, bushings, and flanges. The company can control tolerances down to 0.005 mm, surface roughness to Ra0.63 μm, and has a production capacity of approximately 100,000–120,000 products per month, suitable for OEM orders in precision mechanics, automotive, electrical – electronics, and industrial equipment. Choosing the right technology from the outset not only helps improve product quality but also reduces machining time and optimizes production costs.
Precision CNC Turning Capabilities at Seiko Industry

| Citizen Cincom L20 | 1 | Small parts up to Ø20 mm, complex shapes | B-axis, simultaneous 5-axis control, multi-surface machining in one setup, Guide Bushing/Guide Bush-less | Precision mechanical components, medical, electronics, parts with angled drilling/milling | |
| Fixed-headstock CNC Lathe | Citizen Miyano BNA-42S2 | 5 | Bar machining up to Ø42 mm | Twin spindles, live tools, Y-axis, machining both ends in one cycle | Shafts, bushings, fittings, valve bodies, pistons, collars, mass production |
| Citizen Miyano BNC-42C7 | 1 | Bar machining up to Ø42 mm | Rigid structure, high stability | Medium-sized round parts, mass production, high precision requirements | |
| Y-axis CNC Lathe | Mori Seiki NL2000/Y | 1 | Ø278 × 510 mm | Y-axis, 20-position turret, 6,000 rpm rotary tools, turning–milling–drilling in one setup | Precision shaft parts, bushings, parts requiring turning–milling combination |
| Mori Seiki NL2500/Y | 1 | Ø356 × 705 mm | Larger machining envelope, Y-axis ±50 mm, turning–milling combination | Large shafts, bushings, flanges, housings, large industrial components |
Seiko Industry's machine system is organized into three main groups: Swiss-type lathes, fixed-headstock CNC lathes, and Y-axis CNC lathes. This investment strategy allows the company to flexibly handle parts ranging from small Ø20 mm bar-machined components to large Ø356 mm parts, while optimizing accuracy, productivity, and mass production capabilities.
Meeting Precision Machining Requirements
For precision mechanical parts, dimensions and surface quality directly affect assembly capability and product lifespan. Seiko Industry currently has the capability to meet:
- Tolerances down to 0.005 mm
- Surface roughness down to Ra0.63 μm
To ensure post-machining quality, the company is equipped with a Mitutoyo surface roughness tester to directly check the Ra value of each product according to drawing specifications. This specialized equipment inspection helps ensure surface quality before shipment and increases stability in mass production.
Experience in Machining Carbon Steel and Stainless Steel
Seiko Industry currently focuses on machining: Carbon steel
- SUS303
- SUS304
- SUS316
These materials are commonly used in:
- automotive components
- industrial equipment
- electronic components
- automation equipment
Beyond focusing on precision, Seiko also aims for stable supply capabilities for OEM projects. Thanks to a system of multiple machines of the same type, especially five Citizen Miyano BNA-42S2 machines, the company achieves a production capacity of approximately 100,000–120,000 products per month. Distributing production across multiple machines with the same configuration helps to:
- maintain delivery schedules
- reduce impact during equipment maintenance
- increase flexibility when accepting multiple product codes
- ensure consistent quality across production batches.
Application Areas
Seiko Industry's machine system is suitable for machining components used in:
- Automotive
- Industrial equipment
- Electrical – electronics
- Automation
- Measuring devices
- Precision mechanical equipment
