In March 2014, we completed a one-stop line for in-house production of end plates, which are indispensable for manufacturing pressure vessels from fabrication to proceed final heat treatment work. We set up furnace for heat treatment in which Rozai Kogyo was in charge of designing the trolley-type convection heat treatment furnace, exhaust duct and chimney; RK Engineering was in charge of manufacturing the LPG tank and LPG supply system including the auxiliary structures, which were designed and manufactured by the Vietnamese staff of RK Engineering. We will keep the aim to be a manufacturer that Vietnamese and Japanese people can work in one team.
About Development and production of prototype/Small-scale production
Prototyping and small-batch production is a processing category aimed at functional verification, design evaluation, market viability confirmation in new product development, or manufacturing custom products for specific customers. It is an indispensable process for reducing risks before mass production, shortening development periods, and high-mix, low-volume production, playing an important role in the early stages of the product lifecycle. Its main applications include performance evaluation of new components, design reviews, and manufacturing products for test marketing before market launch. Representative processing methods include 3D printing (additive manufacturing), CNC machining, injection molding using simple molds, sheet metal processing, and laser processing. By combining these technologies, high-precision prototypes and small-batch production items can be realized with short lead times and low costs.
