About Corrosion blade cutting die
Etched dies are precision cutting dies manufactured using photo-etching (chemical etching) technology. A photosensitive resist is applied to a metal plate, and after exposing and developing the designed pattern, unwanted areas are dissolved and removed with a chemical solution, thereby forming complex shapes and fine cutting edges with high precision. This processing method is characterized by yielding high-quality dies with extremely few burrs or flash. They are primarily used for precision punching, half-cutting, and embossing of thin film materials such as electronic components (e.g., flexible PCBs, lead frames, shielding materials), medical films, optical films, and adhesive tapes. Compared to conventional metal dies, they offer the advantage of accommodating high-mix low-volume production and short lead times while keeping initial costs low.
