About Cutting dies
Die cutting molds are precision molds used to punch out sheet materials into a predetermined shape. They are used for processing a wide range of materials such as paper, film, rubber, leather, non-woven fabric, and thin metal sheets, enabling high-precision and high-speed production. Their main applications include the manufacturing of food and pharmaceutical packaging, insulating sheets for electronic components, gaskets for automotive parts, and medical patches. Typical processing methods include press processing, where materials are sheared after being set in a press machine, and Thomson processing (steel rule die cutting), which uses a wooden die with blades embedded. This makes it an important processing technology that enables the mass production of complex-shaped parts, significantly contributing to improvements in product quality and production efficiency, as well as cost reduction.
