At DISOCO, the green sand casting process is divided into 3 strict quality control stages to minimize defects such as burrs and flaws, meeting stringent customer requirements.
Pre-casting:
- Chemical composition analysis of materials using a SPECTROMAXX machine
- Strength and moisture content testing of molding sand using SINTO (Japan) sand analysis equipment
During casting:
- SINTO automatic green sand molding line with a speed of 30 seconds/mold
- Ensuring metal flow stability through furnace control
After product completion:
- Dimensional measurement using a Mitutoyo 3D CMM
- Defect inspection using magnetic particle and ultrasonic testing (Sonatest)
- Hardness, tensile strength, and surface roughness testing
