Direct printing is a processing method that forms images by directly jetting ink onto the surface of a material using an inkjet method, without the need for a printing plate. UV-curable inkjet is particularly dominant, allowing direct decoration on a wide variety of materials such as plastics, metals, wood, glass, and acrylic. This processing method eliminates the need for plate creation, contributing to multi-product small-lot production and shorter lead times, making it ideal for decorating prototypes and personalized products. Furthermore, high-definition printing is possible even on three-dimensional objects and uneven surfaces, and it is utilized in a wide range of fields, including printing logos, designs, and serial numbers on products, decorative printing on building materials and interior finishes, and the production of signs and displays. By using inks with excellent weather and scratch resistance, highly durable decoration can be achieved.
