About Flock coating
Austempering is a heat treatment method for steel in which austenitized steel is isothermally held in a temperature range above the martensite transformation start temperature (Ms point) and below the bainite transformation start temperature (Bs point) to obtain a bainitic structure. By avoiding martensite transformation, it has the characteristic of suppressing quenching distortion and cracking caused by rapid cooling. The resulting bainitic structure achieves both high strength comparable to martensitic structures and excellent toughness and wear resistance. It is mainly applied to parts requiring high strength and low distortion, such as springs, gears, crankshafts, and tools, contributing to improved product reliability.
