About Small-size prototype manufacturing
Small-scale prototype manufacturing is a process for producing relatively small parts and products in small quantities and with short lead times, aimed at functional verification, design confirmation, and assembly evaluation in new product development. Typical processing methods include resin molding using 3D printers (SLA, FDM, SLS, etc.), cutting with NC lathes and machining centers, vacuum casting, and injection molding using simple molds. This enables flexible responses to design changes and DFA/DFM verification before mass production, contributing to reduced development risks and shorter time-to-market.
