About Punching
Punching is a processing method that uses a press machine and a die to shear a predetermined shape from sheet material. It enables high-precision and high-speed processing, making it particularly suitable for the mass production of thin sheet materials. Optimizing the clearance in die design significantly impacts punching quality (burrs, roll-over) and die life, requiring appropriate settings based on material properties and sheet thickness. The selection of processing conditions that consider deburring in subsequent processes is also crucial.
