About High-frequency welding
Stud welding is a welding method that instantly joins studs, such as bolts and pins, to a base material using arc discharge and pressure. The main methods are capacitor discharge (CD) and arc welding. The CD method uses a short arc to minimize heat impact on thin plates, while the arc method is suitable for thicker studs and plates. A major feature is the minimal heat impact on the back side of the base material, which reduces deformation and burn marks. It is widely used for automotive parts, building structures, and electrical equipment casings, especially when the back side needs to be kept clean, or for attaching bolts to thin plates where threading is difficult. It allows for both high joint strength and work efficiency.
