About Plasma welding
Spot welding is a type of resistance welding that utilizes resistance heat generated by passing a large current for a short time through two or more overlapping metal sheets clamped between electrodes, locally melting and joining them. It is primarily used for joining thin sheets and is characterized by small weld marks, high speed, and suitability for automation. It is widely adopted in sheet metal processing for applications such as automobile body manufacturing, home appliances, and metal furniture. The strength and quality of the weld are ensured by appropriate management of welding conditions such as current value, energizing time, and applied pressure, with the joining completed by the formation of a molten zone called a nugget.
