About Magnetic Abrasive

Magnetic polishing is a processing technology that combines magnetic abrasive particles and a magnetic field to polish workpiece surfaces in a non-contact and non-constrained manner. By controlling abrasive particles dispersed in a magnetic fluid with the force of a magnetic field and applying them to the workpiece surface, it achieves fine deburring and improved surface roughness. This method is particularly effective for processing complex shapes, internal surfaces, and narrow sections, enabling a uniform finish in areas that are difficult with conventional mechanical polishing. Because processing stress is low and damage to the workpiece can be suppressed, it is widely utilized in fields requiring high-precision surface quality, such as medical devices, semiconductor manufacturing equipment parts, precision molds, and aerospace components. Automation is also easy, and it contributes to improved productivity.
