A lost wax mold refers to a ceramic mold used for pouring molten metal in lost wax casting, which is one of the precision casting methods, or it can refer to the entire manufacturing process itself. A master pattern made of wax or resin is multi-layer coated with ceramic slurry, and by melting out the wax during firing, a shell mold with complex internal shapes and high-precision external dimensions is formed. By pouring molten metal into this mold, it is possible to manufacture parts with excellent dimensional accuracy and a smooth surface finish.
