About Cassette-type molding die
RTM (Resin Transfer Molding) is a closed mold process used for fiber-reinforced plastic (FRP) molding. A dry fiber preform is placed in a mold, and after the mold is closed, liquid resin is injected and impregnated under low pressure, and the product is formed by heating and curing. This method is suitable for manufacturing high-strength and high-rigidity parts, and allows for the integral molding of complex shapes and thick-walled parts. Because high-quality products with few voids are obtained, it is widely adopted in fields such as aerospace, automotive, railway vehicles, and wind turbine blades, where weight reduction and high reliability are required. In particular, Vacuum-Assisted RTM (VARTM) enables the manufacturing of large parts at a lower cost.
