About Electrode manufacturing
Outsert molding dies are molds used to insert metal parts or other plastic parts into the mold during plastic molding, integrating them with the resin. While similar to insert molding, with outsert molding, parts often remain exposed on the exterior of the molded product, and it is used to enhance functionality and design. The molds must have a mechanism to accurately position the inserted parts and hold them securely to prevent displacement during molding. Typical applications include electrical connectors, switch components, automotive functional parts, and composite parts for home appliances. In mold manufacturing, high-precision design and processing are required, taking into account differences in thermal expansion of parts, resin flow around inserts, and flash generation. This contributes to reducing the number of parts, simplifying assembly processes, and improving product reliability.
