About Blaze welding
Brazing is a joining method that does not melt the base material but instead melts and flows a filler metal (brazing filler metal) with a lower melting point than the base material, utilizing capillary action to create the joint. Because there is little heat input to the base material and deformation can be suppressed, it is particularly suitable for joining dissimilar metals and thin sheets. It is characterized by achieving high airtightness, electrical conductivity, and corrosion resistance. It is used in a wide range of fields, such as heat exchangers and piping in automotive parts, home appliances, electronic components, and the joining of cemented carbide tools.
