They have the advantage of being able to achieve complex shapes with low-cost molds. **Rotational molding** heats and cools the mold while rotating it on multiple axes, fusing resin powder to form low-stress, low-strain hollow products such as large tanks and containers. **Slush molding** involves pouring liquid resin (such as PVC paste) into a heated mold, and after the surface layer solidifies, draining the excess to produce complex and highly decorative thin-walled skins, such as automotive interior skins. **Dip molding** involves immersing and withdrawing a heated mold into liquid resin (such as PVC sol), and then cooling and solidifying it to form coatings or hollow shapes for items like tool grips and gloves.
