About Drop hammer

Vacuum forming is a processing method in which a thermoplastic resin sheet is heated and softened, then brought into close contact with a single-sided mold. Air between the mold and the sheet is then evacuated by a vacuum pump, and the sheet is formed into the mold's shape using the pressure difference with atmospheric pressure. Because only a single-sided mold is required, initial investment can be reduced compared to injection molding, and products can be commercialized in a relatively short timeframe. It is used for manufacturing thin-walled and hollow-structured products in a wide range of fields, such as food containers (blister packs, trays), automotive interior parts, home appliance covers, and medical device components. It offers excellent cost performance, especially for prototyping and small-lot production.
