About Hot forging
Outsert molding is a processing technology that integrates pre-molded resin parts, metal parts, or similar components by setting them in a mold and then injection molding another resin around or onto a portion of them. While insert molding embeds parts within the resin, outsert molding involves forming a new resin layer on the exterior of existing parts, or joining an existing part with another part using resin. This method allows for improved functionality through the combination of different materials (e.g., enhanced grip and waterproofing by combining hard and soft sections), reduction in the number of parts, simplification of assembly processes, and improved design. It is adopted in a wide range of products such as switches and connectors in automotive parts, operating sections of home appliances, and tool grips, contributing to higher added value. Optimization of mold design and molding conditions is crucial.
