"t9.0 and above" refers to thick plate materials with a thickness exceeding 9.0mm. Materials in this category are widely used for structural components requiring high strength and rigidity, as well as in heavy machinery, ships, pressure vessels, and frames for large industrial machinery. Due to their thickness, processing these materials necessitates high-output equipment and specialized techniques. Representative processing methods include precise cutting using plasma cutting, gas cutting, and high-power laser cutting; bending with large press brakes or rolls; and arc welding (MAG/MIG, submerged arc welding, etc.) involving multi-pass welding. Groove preparation is also essential before welding, and managing heat effects and distortion is a critical factor.
