About Forming
Fine blanking is a precision shearing technology that achieves highly precise and smooth sheared surfaces that cannot be obtained with conventional press working. By simultaneously and precisely controlling three independent forces – material clamping by a V-ring, the punch, and the ejector – it suppresses plastic deformation of the material and minimizes the occurrence of rollover, fracture surfaces, and burrs. This significantly reduces or eliminates secondary processing such as cutting and grinding, contributing to cost reduction and process shortening. It is widely utilized in fields requiring high dimensional accuracy and excellent sheared surface quality, such as seat reclining mechanisms and door lock components in automotive parts, and precision components for electrical and electronic devices. It also allows for the simultaneous processing of complex shapes and is suitable for mass production of high-value-added parts.
