About Spoiler
Spoilers are components used in moving vehicles such as automobiles and aircraft to control airflow and optimize aerodynamic characteristics. Their main purpose is to reduce lift and increase downforce, thereby contributing to improved stability and enhanced grip during high-speed operation. In automobiles, they function as rear spoilers or front spoilers (air dams), and in aircraft, as ground spoilers or flight spoilers on the wings. Typical manufacturing methods primarily involve laminate molding using FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic) or CFRP (Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic) to achieve both lightweight properties and high rigidity. For mass-produced items, they may also be made of resin via injection molding, or metals such as aluminum may be formed by pressing or cutting. This requires technology to precisely achieve complex aerodynamic shapes.
