A vulcanizer is manufacturing equipment that dramatically improves the physical properties of rubber, such as elasticity, strength, heat resistance, and chemical resistance, by applying heat and pressure to unvulcanized rubber and reacting it with a vulcanizing agent (mainly sulfur). Through this process, rubber transforms into stable vulcanized rubber with a cross-linked structure. Its main applications include the molding and manufacturing of a wide range of rubber products, such as automobile tires, various rubber hoses, O-rings, packings, belts, and footwear. Representative equipment includes press vulcanizers, which set material in a mold and apply heat and pressure; injection vulcanizers, suitable for complex-shaped products; continuous vulcanizers (CV vulcanizers), which continuously process long products like cables and hoses; and autoclave vulcanizers, for large or special products. These are used selectively depending on the product shape and production method.
