VINA ITO is a company specializing in ductile iron casting and CNC machining of components for the heavy industry sector, adhering to Japanese standards in Vietnam. The company focuses on manufacturing large powertrain components for construction machinery, heavy industrial equipment, and mining vehicles. Leveraging its expertise in ductile iron casting using the alkaline phenolic no-bake sand molding method, VINA ITO is capable of producing large-sized products ranging from 100kg to 2 tons. These products are suitable for thick and heavy structures and meet the high mechanical strength requirements of the mining and heavy industries. Currently, the company is involved in manufacturing numerous components for various models of construction machinery and mining vehicles from the Japanese manufacturer Komatsu, such as the HD785-7 Mining Dump Truck, D155-6 Bulldozer, and HM300/400 Articulated Dump Truck. Typical products include housings, carriers, front hubs, rear hubs, cases, and many other heavy-duty powertrain components. To meet the stringent technical requirements of Japanese customers, VINA ITO invests in a synchronized system of equipment covering casting, heat treatment, quality inspection, and final CNC machining. The company currently utilizes various Japanese equipment such as Kitazawa medium-frequency furnaces, Toei Denka Kogyo magnesium treatment equipment, Taiyo Machinery sand processing systems, along with high-capacity CNC machining centers from DMG MORI, Niigata, OKUMA, NIDEC, and others. In addition to its production capabilities, VINA ITO also focuses on investing in a quality inspection system, including 3D CMM measuring machines, ultrasonic flaw detectors, material composition analysis equipment, and spherical graphite structure inspection, to ensure comprehensive quality control from raw materials to finished products. VINA ITO currently owns a factory with an area of approximately 30,097 m² and a production capacity of up to 800 tons/month. This allows for the implementation of a closed-loop production model, encompassing casting, heat treatment, quality inspection, and final CNC machining, all within the same factory premises. Inheriting technology and technical standards from its Japanese parent company – Ito Foundry Co., Ltd., with a history of development since 1946, VINA ITO is currently one of the few enterprises in Vietnam capable of stably producing large-load ductile iron components for the heavy and mining industries, adhering to Japanese standards.
