Induction Hardening / Induction Hardening / 高周波焼入れ
In steel heat treatment, surface hardening is used in the manufacturing of engines, tractors, machine tools, etc. This is because the surface of components is always subjected to wear during friction, exposure to the environment, and even corrosion. However, in through hardening, both the core and the surface are hardened. While many components require the core to retain its ductility, only the surface is hardened to a high hardness. Besides thermochemical heat treatment methods like nitriding, surface hardening (induction hardening) is a common method in mechanical manufacturing. Steel grade: To simultaneously ensure that after surface hardening, the surface is hard enough to resist wear, while the core remains sufficiently strong, ductile, and especially has high toughness to withstand impact, the steel used for induction hardening must be a medium carbon steel, 0.35-0.55% (usually only 0.40-0.50%), and is typically a steel with low hardenability.
With an automatic control system, Metal heat's induction hardening technology can produce up to 3,000 pcs/day/machine.
