Protective tube manufacturing in Vietnam (Extrusion molding + Insert molding)
【Mass Production of Protective Tubes (Extrusion Molding + Insert Molding) - Manufactured in Vietnam】
Insulating protective tubes are essential for preventing electric shock and contact accidents at construction sites. At Akebono Kasei Vietnam, we combine extrusion molding and insert molding to efficiently mass-produce high-quality protective tubes for high-voltage power lines. (The example in the photo uses LDPE material)
Protective tubes are insulating materials used in situations with electric shock or contact risks, such as construction sites and crane operations, and are equipped with essential functions for ensuring safety.
【Example Specifications: We can accommodate the following specifications】
・ Extrusion Material: LDPE (Low-Density Polyethylene)
・ Insert Part Material: PP, PC, etc.
・ Available Dimensions: Outer Diameter φ30～φ90, Length 1,000mm～3,000mm
・ Color: Can accommodate colors prioritizing visibility, such as yellow, orange, and red.
・ Assembly Method: Also supports fixed designs using manual or automatic jigs.

・ Integrated molding by LDPE extrusion: Stable supply of smooth cylindrical shapes that can be easily installed along power lines.
Furthermore, two-color extrusion molding using UV-protected LDPE (yellow surface) and LDPE (black interior) enables high-performance and cost-effective mass production.
・ Enhanced durability of end structures through insert molding: Improves mounting strength and sealing performance by molding and joining resin parts to clamp sections, etc.
・ Selection of materials with excellent insulation properties: Reduces the risk of electric shock accidents by using highly electrically insulating materials.
・ Mass production capability: Integrated production with multiple lines allows us to handle large-lot orders with short lead times.
